Parents in Recovery Curriculum
The Parents In Recovery Program is a knowledge, strengths and skills-based program offered to parents (mothers, fathers and primary parental caretakers) in recovery from substance use disorder (SUD).
The curricular sessions provide men and women with a positive, supportive environment where they can safely explore some of their personal childhood experiences and their challenges becoming parents to their own children. It is also a learning environment, where each session focuses on an evidence-based, advanced yet accessible parenting principal that is delivered in participant-friendly, concrete, interactive style.
