In honor of Father’s Day, The Fatherhood Project is hosting a photo contest for dads. We want to see photos that celebrate fatherhood. Please share a photo with us that reflects what you love most about your relationship with your child, or what you love most about fatherhood. We will be sharing all of the entries on the TFP Facebook page.

The Grand Prize winner will receive a pair of Red Sox tickets! These great seats are for the June 23rd game against the Baltimore Orioles.

The second place winner will choose from and receive one of these fatherhood books:

THE FATHERHOOD PROJECT’S FATHER’S DAY PHOTO CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES
WHO CAN ENTER?
  • Any father of any age located in the United States may enter.
  • Employees, relatives of employees, and contractors of The Fatherhood Project are not allowed to enter the contest.
  • Individuals may enter only three photos into the contest.
THE ENTRY DEADLINE

Submissions for the The Fatherhood Project Father’s Day Photo Contest will be accepted between May 18, 2015 and 11:59pm on June 14, 2015. Winner will be announced on June 16th.

CONTEST AWARD

The winner of The Fatherhood Project’s Photo Contest will receive a pair tickets to the June 23, 2015 7:10pm Boston Red Sox game vs. the Baltimore Orioles. The tickets are for Grandstand 11, Row 1, Seats 19 & 20.

The Fatherhood Project is not responsible for the cancellation or postponement of the Red Sox game.

JUDGING

Judging will be done by a select group of The Fatherhood Project employees.

ENTERING PHOTOS IN THE CONTEST

For photos to be considered for The Fatherhood Project Father’s Day Photo contest, entrants must submit The Fatherhood Project Photo Contest Entry Form on The Fatherhood Project’s website. This provides us with the entrant’s contact information to ensure we can reach and update the potential winner, confirms you have read the Official Rules and secures permission to publish your photos.

Guidelines/Tips:

  • Photo entries must relate to the theme of Fatherhood.
  • Individuals submitting photos must possess the full rights to their submitted photos. Photos including material of questionable ownership may be excluded.
  • Photo finalists must provide a real name and mailing address to The Fatherhood Project when requested, or risk having their photo submissions disqualified.
  • Image quality of all submitted photos is an important consideration. Photos must be in JPEG, PNG, or GIF format. Ideally, all submitted photos should have a minimum resolution of 5 MB and 8 megapixels or higher. Photos with watermarks or other advertisements embedded in them will not be accepted.
  • Photos should be interesting, compelling, and evoke emotion in the viewer.
THE FATHERHOOD PROJECT RIGHTS AND INDEMNIFICATIONS
  • Entries that do not follow the guidelines will be disqualified.
  • By entering this photo contest you are giving The Fatherhood Project permission to use your photo(s) in promotional and marketing items. This means all photos, not just winning entries, will be eligible for inclusion in such activities, without compensation. You agree that your photo may be cropped without your consent. You also certify that the photo is yours and does not violate copyright law. All photos will be added to an album on The Fatherhood Project’s Facebook page.
  • Each participant in the photo contest is responsible for ensuring that they possess the full rights to the photos that they are submitting.
  • We reserve sole rights to eliminate photographic submissions that we deem to be objectionable. Types of photos that we would remove without warning:
    • Photos that showcase questionable taste or themes
    • Photos that feature alcohol, drugs or related paraphernalia, or sexual content.
    • Photos involving salacious subjects and presentations
    • Photos that are unrelated to fatherhood
  • Photos need not have been taken in the year in which they are being submitted.
