Session #4 - Antonio’s Story


These men were featured in the documentary short, HE TREASURES BEING A DAD. True, inspiring stories of four dedicated dads who are loving, nurturing parents to their children. Real-life footage shows one dad's nightly routine of feeding his infant twins. Another dad takes his toddler on an adventure ... to the grocery store. In the following documentary video clips you’ll see and feel the connection between these fathers and their children. Expert commentary from the Chair of Pediatrics at a major medical center who then allows the camera behind the scenes to document the loving relationship with his own young son.

HE TREASURES BEING A DAD was directed by John Badalament and Haji Shearer and co-produced by the Children's Trust Fund of Massachusetts. to remind us all that fathers play an important role in their children's lives. Fathers and children have better emotional and physical health when dads are positively engaged with their sons and daughters. The film captures examples of these benefits through interactions and discussions with the dads, children and mothers.
